Skin Tag Removal

Procedure

If a numbing cream is required, it is applied by staff 1 hour prior to the procedure.  Other or larger tags may require numbing injections instead of the cream. The actual time in office is approximately 1 1/2 hours. The tags are clipped off and cautery is used to seal the areas.

Post-Procedure

The area(s) will be red and irritated and a crust may form at the site(s). An antibiotic cream should be applied to the area(s) treated to prevent infection. Healing time is approximately 1 week.
